1. Just wondering if you all shoot your bows all year or just when it is time for hunting season?

When ever I can get out and practice in real conditions works best for me.Like to shoot when it's colder than a you know what! You don't want your string to bite your coat at the wrong moment

got way too many irons in the fire to play with one toy all year..

Sept. I usually go over the bow and arrows. Couple of weeks prior to opening I practice about 30 shot per night. Last three years in a row, the first shot out of my bow at 25 yds hit the official size bullseye. (2-1/2 to 3 in. maybe?) Don't need to be better than that for my hunting set ups.

I usually start in July, there's just to many other things to be doing out in the woods. I guess it don't matter if you can consistantly shoot a dime at 35 yards if you don't have a good set up in the woods.

I shoot Most of the year. Past three winters I was at Priest Hollow Archery indoor league. In summer I shoot some of the 3D shoots and shoot from a treestand at 3D targets in the back yard. I always practice with my broadheads, and I take practice shots from awkward angles, sitting, kneeling.. I enjoy the the indoor leagues to try and beat my best scores.

I admit my bow doesn't come out till August at the earliest. Sometimes not till September. Just to busy fishing.
