The guys who have beeen wading the 2 most popular walleye lakes around here(Mosquito/Pymatuning) are doing well these last 2 weeks. They are fishing the edges of the dying weed beds and are getting them on jig/ fathead minnow combos and a moderate hop and drop retreive.Chartreuse and Pink are the preferred color jigs.
Used to do this type of fishing every late fall,now my fingers get so cold I just think about it. :oops: Now ice fishing is another story.I can sit in my heated Fish Trap all day and night watching my Vexilar and slam them walleyes and big crappies.
