Snags, they are frustrating, stubborn and unavoidable. Logs, rocks, construction debris, you name it; it’s on the bottom of our lakes, rivers and streams. If you fish a place on a regular basis you might become familiar enough to be able to avoid them to some degree, but sooner or later, one of them seems to reach from the depths to grab hold of your lure or hook and swallows it up.
