Anyway, is there any other possible details to list?

I know you had to have brought up something we've talked about.

Is the whole format staying the same?

Indeed a few of us did have a spirited discussion on how to grow this most worthy event.

We all agreed that the bottom line is raising monies for Disabled American Veterans.

We also agreed to disagree on whether a 2 day individual payout is better, paying down more teams with a less 1ST place payout is better as well as several other suggestions.

Will be attending the November DAV meeting to share opinions.

Fished the brant and fields tournament last year out of wolf run marina and had a great time and caught fish both days. Was a great time and the best part of all is that it was for a great cause it supports our veterans that fight to keep our country free. I will most definetly be looking forward to fishing at least one of these events next year.

Glad you enjoyed the experience Wally diver. The monies raised support so many worthy Disabled American Veterans causes.

The DAV folks not only transport Vets to their hospital and doctors appointments in Cleveland, Erie, Buffalo & Pittsburgh. They also put on several fishing outings for the Vets from the Soldiers & Sailors Home and more.

Let's do the math:

Fun + fishing + competition + good people + supporting veterans = ONE DAMNED GOOD TIME FOR A DAMNED GOOD CAUSE!!

I hope many here will put these dates on their schedule for next year and fish these tournaments.

Weather wise the schedule worked out well this year. I for one wish they would have kept the May date but the bottom line for me is that I am fishing in support veterans.

I WILL be winning next years events!

yep, the may and june dates should have stayed but to late now, even if they wanted to go back they'd be competing against other tournies. They lost the dates and ain't getting them back.

As to Gary winning next year, sounds like Mike better step it up and cover your back side. Even at that, you aren't getting past me, the big gun committed to both DAV's next year.

Question, have the DAV guys ever given a thought to a bass tourney on Kinzua or Chautauqua as a fundraiser????? Might be something for them to think about. I know Wayne Shreve from way back, he used to be our bass club President, maybe Gary should bring this up to them??? Just a thought

Don't know that they have? I do know that the Red Cross of Chautauqua County would like to do a Bass Tournament as a fundraiser.

Will be happy to fish the June tourny, but the July's falls again while I'm in Canada!!! Ferbie says we're gonna do it this year(or she's gonna find a new partner)!!!
