okay Carl and Mike no more what ifs here. We know Ferbie can catch fish and the rest of you are the slugs of the boats. Here's my super simple way to get rid of the problem.

1 - ferbie fishes with me, I easily let Cole go

2 - I talk to the dav and get the following rule passed,
Gary, Mike, Carl and Cole can fish out of the same boat or use 2 boats and combine catches.
That shouldn't be a problem letting us do this as we all know the weight turned in by the 4 of you will still at best be in the top 45. Only worry is Carl catching the big fish of the day.

Sorry Carl, had to lop you in there somewhere with those guys and Mike I already feel for you as I had the pleasure/pain of putting alot of time on the boat with GG this past summer. Cole = no apology as he has no computer and I ain't telling my plans until it's to late.

Just what are you trying to say Hoff- that it would take FOUR of us in ONE boat to catch a limit and beat you? The way I fished last year, you might be right!!! And now the big question- can I teach Gary to fish "Backasswards"???????

Sorry Carl, that's exactly what I'm saying for this coming year. Especailly the June Tourny.
You see, I have this new secret weapon and new secret hot spot on the zoo along with counting on Gary not being able to fish backasswards I figure it's a done deal.

I just need ferbie in the boat so the fish will actually be caught instead of me always snagging up and breaking lines.

OK Hoff- the preliminary ground work for the trade is set- Ferbie seems to be in agreement- I suck and she wants to jump ship & fish with someone that can catch fish and maybe WIN a tourny!!!! But I don't know if Gary would let me in his boat- I always eat bananas for lunch.

How much does it cost to get in these tourneys?I know last year in early june when we were camping there was one going on.We were on a lot of fish but whether it would have been enough to place,,,I doubt it.I am basically a jiggin' fool ,and know the better fish are caught trolling.Just cant get into trolling(road huntin') as I call it. Just curious how much it cost to get in for a two man team?

Last year it was $225 per 2 man team if I remember right. There's also a side pot for "Big Fish".
