It would be great to have you join us Eyeball Buster. You will never fish a more fun as well as competitive tournament. You can also learn a bunch from watching these anglers. I know I have!

Brought this back to the top as to remind & invite all to fish these most worthy events.

Mighty One I will be registering us this week or next. Tis true that i am one who prefers to come in early on day one and late day two.

Plan on kicking some booty this year Mighty One!

We sure are looking forward to the "Super Bowl" of the tournies!!! Too early to start any trash talk, besides, it always backfires on me!!! Always a great time.

good to hear I'm not the only one the trash talk back fires on. Going to try and avoid it this year.....
Well except maybe a little side bet with GG. I'm bringing back an old heavy weight for a partner. He's pumped, primed and ready already.
Thinking he won't let me goof off to much. I'm also thinking of renting a room out there this year, haven't stayed out there for a long time but am thinking of it this year to cut the driving.
Is the Corydon Hotel going to be opening back up, does anyone know?

I spoke to Chip last week and he says they will be open. I have reserved a room for me & Mighty Mike. It is nice to not have to drive the hour back home after a day of tournament combat and then have to get up an hour earlier the next day to drive back.

Also a great time hanging out with those Willow Creekers at the Corydon & the Willows. Don't think Chip has many rooms left. I would suggest any one interested call asap. 814-362-1919

I look forward to fishing with & against each and every one of you. I also plan to TAKE ALL OF YOUR MONEY!!!

I just checked the work schedule, I have no weddings that I forgot so I am available as a rider for BOTH of these events. Anyone in need of a rider/partner, let me know!

Hoff, give me a call as I know of a few camps that may be available that weekend.

Friar Tuck also has a friend or two with camps for rent there. Perhaps the good Friar will contact me with the info.

Allegany State Park is only a 15 minute drive away and they have nice cabins available at reasonable prices with showers & the like easily available. I have stayed there myself for a few of these events.

Anybody else with suggestions for Hoff and others looking for a place to stay for the DAV tournament?

you could also check and see if you can rent a cabin right there at willow bay.. I think they have some nicer ones that have water in them.

Excellent post fishinjohn! I forgot all about the fact that Willow Bay Campground had built some cabins. The big question is do they have power outlets for the guys to charge their boats? If so one can't get any better easy & close access to the launch site for the tournament!

Also you all see that HDE would like to be a rider and add Treestandtimmy to the list as he would also like to fish this event but does not have a boat. I can vouch for them both in the fact that they will fish hard & be entertaining for your days on the water.

I would recommend Allegany State Park for a place to stay. Have to jump on it now though...those cabins fill up quickly.

Maybe in a few years, I will have to get into a tourny like this!

We're set, got the phone call back yesterday confirming that we have a camp rented for the weekend. Thanks to Doug for hooking me up with a place.

Gary i am pretty sure that they have electric, not sure how accesible it would be for your boat though, you may have to run a long cord.
