Got my packet in the mail the other day. 2010 MWC East shedule:

April 17 & 18 Trenton, MI. Detroit River & Michigan only Lake Erie

June 18, 19 & 20 Sandusky, OH. Lake Erie

August 6, 7 & 8 Au Gres, MI Saginaw Bay

$650 per team per tournament. $40 per angler for membership fee.

Thanks for making me go out for a couple Tauties in the middle of a blizzard last night to talk about this.

Still going through the deliberations at this point between my sanity and vacation schedule.
Will schedule another meeting shortly.

Hoff it was a very productive meeting of the minds last night. Who'd a thunk it wouyld have taken 3 hours and 2 Senior Soda Lounges to cover it all?

As to another meeting? The wife might have a say in that schedule???

These meetings are very important as well as producitive! Safety is important, right? Strategy discussions are VERY important, right? And one must have a de-briefing at the end of a fishing day, right???

The wife just doesn't understand.

Looks like Hoff and I have decided to take the plunge. We have decided to fish the Detroit River tournament and then decide what to do from there.

Anybody with info on the Detroit River or Michigan, Lake Erie waters please pm myself or Hoff. Don't post info here as there are spies everywhere!

Well Mike, if it wasn't about at least trying and pushing to try and win money and is just about having a good time than I change my position about getting into these tournies. If that's the case there's no sense in entering them, save the entry fees and just go to the waters for the fun of it on a different week other than the tournies.

I'm out to win!!! making a showing in the top 5 is the worst I'm looking at.
I'm possibly on the verge of blowing a ton of my vacation along with what's looking like a good chunk of change. I'm out for blood and that's that.

Hopefully GG is in the same mind set as I, me and my ego.

Call me if you want some real help with the MWC this year. I'm retired from tournament fishing for the next couple of years. I have qualified for the MWC Championship for 6 years in a row, more than anyone in the east.

Gary - Did your brochure have a couple of ugly guys on the cover like mine did?

Glad to hear you guys are going to jump back in the MWC. If you are thinking you are gonna fish them all the Premier Team Contingency bonus is a pretty good deal if you sign up early for them all. Puts an extra $1000 out there for the Premier teams.

Make sure Alan gives you all his good spots and not just the community holes!

Always look for two ugly guys in a Ranger 621 with #1 on the motor. The big scary looking one is Matt and the brains of the opperation is Dan, and don't let Matt tell you any different. If you see them prefishing and Matt quickly starts the boat and drives away they're catching good fish there. Don't be fooled! lol

First I figure that they all know that Hoff & I are a couple of hot looking masculine fishing studs! They fear that while at tournament sites ALL Hot Bait Babes will be chasing us without giving a sniff to them! After all, we ain't ugly!
