ive been trying to get out forever but havent been able to get out in a while. no one else ever wants to go....
I have rabbits around here but ya gotta have good rooting dogs to get them out. I don't havve any rabbit dogs. Anyone with good dogs who wants to come here for a hunt is very welconme

I have a rabbit contest coming up in a few weeks, I sure hope the weather cooperates. Last year was brutal had about two to two and a half feet of snow.

Is that the Chautauqua conservation Club you speak of. Would love to know the details and promote it on the show. Godd bunch of folks at that club.

I'm a member there but haven't had the time to stop there since the middle of Dec. I'll try to look into it.
The contest is Feb 13, it is five bucks per person, you can hunt with as many guys as you want in your group. You have to have your rabbits weighed in at the club completely gutted but with the fur left on. Weigh in by I think 3:00 PM After the contest most people bring a dish to pass and we have a big dinner at the club. It's a lot of fun and a good chance to meet some really cool people. Sign up at the club.

Well we ended up with 12 rabbits today which is damn good for four guys and no dog, we didn't win though our heaviest was 2.47 pounds and the winner was 2.92. We all had a lot of fun and the food afterwards at the Con Club was great!!! Already looking forward to next years contest.
