    Default M4ish AR...........

Scoping out getting another AR, as I'm feeling sorry with myself for letting the last two go.

The last two were standard Colt Hbars, and nice rigs. The first was a flat top and that's what I need back.

This time though I'm shooting for a short carbine, collapsible, M4ish, flat top, and in 5.56.

Short and light, as a requirement.

Stag Arms makes a lefty lower and upper but I've no experience with Stag....figure I may as well put a lefty together.

Need some recon on that outfit from any BT/DT's.............

Stag is GTG. I've never handled one of their lefty versions but have no doubt it would be up to their normal standards. Want me to bring my 6.8 down with me the next time for Jon to play with?

Stag's in my budget on a turn key rig.....no bothering with a build beyond RRing the trigger.

I'll glady go light on ammo to watch him put some rounds down-range with it. The .223 is cheap (relatively) and fun, the 6,8 is my "social" AR. Hoping to get it into 'yote action, maybe a deer.

You'll be happy with the Stag, no doubt.

Sure you wouldn't rather pick up an AK?

I'm definitely wanting the rifle pattern.

Having hunted with a couple of hand cannons, as in Encores and Contenders, it's my experience that laying down accurate shots with them is tricky.

The AR platform suits me needs.............

You could get a lefty-configured STG-556 or STG-E4 Ratworx has STGs on sale for $1050 with five magazines, ten inch top rail, and six inch side rail. If they don't have a lefty STG in stock, MSAR will swap your right handed bolt for left handed bolt at no charge.
