I would be careful with ammo also. As far as cheaper stuff I have found federal or Winchester does a good job. I would stay away from the Remington Thunderbolts, gotta be about the dirtyest 22 ammo I,ve ever shot

Thanks for the info guys. I will take your advice.
I know guys that are so picky they will measure the rim on every one of there .22 shells to ensure what works the best all have the same rim measurements....
lol that is a little extreme. But I guess if want perfect you can can work for it...
NY;
Try the CCI SGBs and CCI SubSonic LR HPs.
I might just have to get me one of these. The .45 was definitely not the greatest choice for my first pistol. haha

Mikey....do you have a 1911 based .45 or another. I had a Ruger P-90 and it was an accurate son of a gun with Speer Lawman ammo. Qualified many times on it and it was a shooter....
I have a Ruger P97. Accuracy has been an issue for me...but I hold myself accountable, as I have not shot it nearly enough...it tends to jam once in a while. The shell doesn't fully eject sometimes...wondering if it's the ammo.

could be that you are limp wristing it. A common problem for Glock shooters. A quick change in form and 2 minutes of me watching you can change that....
Well...I certainly would be interested in any help you can provide!
She sure is a loud beast too! Much louder than my cousin's glocks.

BTW... ALWAYS wear ear protection shooting any pistol. You may not notice but the sound from even 22 cal causes some permanent hearing loss each session.
Those Thunderbolts should not even be allowed to pass inspection or marketed in the USA. Super crap.
